Final Four

#4Louisville (30-9) 63
#1Kentucky (36-2) 68

Aside from horse racing and bourbon, nothing unites the Bluegrass State like its love for college basketball. Kentucky has always asserted itself to be a hotbed of hoops, a sentiment solidified this season by the collective performances of Murray State, the University of Louisville and the University of Kentucky. While the Racers had a commendable campaign, it’s the Cardinals and Wildcats as the two remaining candidates seeking to claim the Commonwealth’s crown.

Final Four

#2Ohio State (31-7) 68
#2Kansas (31-6) 72

The NCAA tournament may be known for its penchant for vaulting the "Davids" of the sport into the spotlight, but it’s two Goliaths that will battle for a spot in Monday’s title game. Premier big men Jared Sullinger and Thomas Robinson square off as the Kansas Jayhawks face the Buckeyes of Ohio State.

Final Four

#2Kansas (32-6) 69
#1Kentucky (37-2) 71

Though collectively taking part in 18 national championship games, Kentucky and Kansas have never played each other in the final. In fact, they’ve only met in the NCAA tournament twice, splitting second-round games in 1999 and 2007. Wildcats coach John Calipari is a bit more familiar with Kansas, however. Bill Self and the Jayhawks bested his Memphis Tigers in the 2008 championship game.
