The same could be said about the first post in this thread.
There's a long way between now and 9 of the best to ever play the game.
There is a long way between now and the Hall of Fame for Trout, that's true.
But Cameron's comparison is more valid than yours because he compares all hitters through their age 21 seasons. In that comparison, Trout is on top. If you compared all age 25 or age 26 seasons, Maas/Spencer/Charboneau wouldn't be anywhere near the top.
