Yet, from where I sit, you're dying to argue despite having nothing to argue about.     And the difference is that I recognize the situation.   I'm not 100% convinced you do.

This.

So you're bringing an argument that has be rehashed for two years.   Two years.

Two years?

There are plenty of good arguments for not voting in Martinez.

The argument that he doesn't belong because he walked too much is both new (brought up by you last month) and unique in its stupidity. Unique in its stupidity. (Since we repeat things for emphasis, I guess)

Tell me more.

I'm pretty sure it's settled. No need to go on.

WHY has bad_luck revived the Edgar Martinez argument?
3/4/2014 5:55 PM
E-Mart OPS in PAs in which he walked: 1
OPS in PAs in which he didn't walk: ~.83

Do one better and use the better formula of 1.7*OBP + SLG

walks: 1.7
non-walks: ~1.05

Explain again how he's better when he doesn't walk?

Because the Jeter argument had devolved to the point where it had been several pages since anyone actually bothered to mention Jeter?  Or anything related to baseball, for that matter...

Feel free to avoid the revival.

No, not really.

Ignoring, also, that this -
you're bringing an argument that has be rehashed for two years
makes no sense

You don't say?

My thing is that Mike won't admit that Cabby was better at 3rd than Jeter is at short...cuz he's a moron who ignores stats and goes back to pix of one bad hop. Unlike Jeter, who I can continue to produce HUNDREDS of photos of his ****** fielding.

Do any of them show him taking a ball in the face?   In fact, can you find a photo of any MLB player taking a ball in the face in the last 10 years?

Miggy was okay 2 years ago at 3B, mostly because of his arm. Last year not so much, this is one person who's glad he's back at 1B. Once Vmart is gone hopefully he'll DH.
