I think Brady is good and his efficiency/production as a QB won't suffer. But if you think their passing game won't suffer, you're crazy. They're going to have to be creative this season and rely more on the running game to be successful.

Am I?  Do you actually think they are done adding parts to their offense?  Seriously, FA has just started.  They still have plenty of time to add to it.

That's true, and I may say differently if they add a real playmaker. But I don't see anyone out there that I think will end up in NE that'll make a huge difference in the passing game.

If by suffer you mean fail to reach the epic totals of last season, I agree....

Of course, I would think that to be true with Welker back as well......that was a hard year to top offensively.....now if you tell me Gronk is gone for the year.....

Honestly, if anything, I think they run less next year....

Did you think Welker was a difference maker when NE acquired him?

Did the Patriots struggle when Edelman played for Welker?

To be clear, I'm not saying Welker wasn't a difference maker, nor am I saying the Patriots won't miss him.  I'm just saying that just because there's not an obvious difference maker out there to take his place doesn't mean they are going definitely going to miss him.  No one was like "Oh man, they got Wes Welker!" back in 2007.  They do have a long track record for making what they have work.

I'm sure the system will continue to tell Brady to dump the ball off to whomever if he faces any kind of pressure at all, so whoever runs the safety valve route will get plenty of chances.

Dude, Hernandez got injured on the 3rd play in game 2.

Nice try though.

It's a legit question.   Welker missed 3-4 games.  Edelman was their guy.  Did the Pats suffer?

Yeah...when you have the pressure, just hold onto the ball and take the sack or just blindly throw the ball in the air.

Jesus you are stupid.

THAT'S WHAT GOOD QBS DO!!!

Ed Reed is considering joining the Texans.  I'd argue they leapfrog Pats if they grab him.

I'm trying to figure something out.  Maybe you clowns can help me.

Why does every thread in this forum turn into "TOM BRADY!!!"?

Eh, I don't see Ed Reed as that big of difference maker at this point. I just don't see Houston as ever going to be good enough to punch their way to the SB.
