Which conference in Knight D-3 has been the best over the past few years, which has openings? I can't access the information. Thanks!

It's a tossup between the CCIW and the Heartland, either one would be a great conference.

By Conference Prestige:  SoCal: B, CCIW: B-, Heartland: B-

By current season Conference RPI: SoCal: .5959, CCIW: .5693, Heartland: .5383

By current season Tournament Bids:  SoCal: 7 NT-3 PIT, CCIW: 5 NT-2 PIT, Heartland: 3 NT-2 PIT

By NT performance  last 4 seasons prior to current season:  So Cal: 49-16, 2 Championships   CCIW: 40-17 1 Championship   Heartland: 15-17 0 Championships

Not sure who will have any openings...I don't think So Cal will...but can't speak for other players. If your criteria is for a fun active and competitive conference, all 3 of these are great options.  If it's purely competitive, then I think So Cal and CCIW have been a little better over the last 4 or 5 seasons
