Interesting draft strategy this year.  All over 6 feet, most over 200lbs, all north american, and other than the first round all were over age / passed by in their first draft eligibility year.
Not a bad strategy when you draft that far back

 Gillis needs to drop the asking price, Luongo isnt that good ,in fact he is downright horrid under pressure..get what you can for him...make a run for this Schultz kid..Doan is exactly what the Canucks need , but will he leave Phoenix?

Schultz signed with the oilers.  Not a huge deal to miss out on him since we never had him anyway.  The one thing I did not realize about Schultz is he is nearly 22 years old and listed at 163 lbs.  That is too small, he is going to get punished on the oilers who sport the smallest forwards in the league.  The main reason I am hearing why Schultz choose the Oilers was they have a guaranteed roster spot for him and the Canucks could not guarantee a roster spot.  Let's sign Garrison tomorrow and hope the Kings keep J Bernier and Brodeur re-signs with the Devils, that puts more pressure on the Leafs and the Panthers to offer more for Luongo.

 Picks the Oilers?  we dont need guys like him ..who wants to play for the perrenial deadbeats of the NHL ..only way they can rebuild is get the first overall pick for the next 10 years and they still suck! shows his character..LOSER

Garrison is 6'2" 218lbs had 127 hits and is from White Rock (good Canadian boy)
Suter is 6'1" 198 lbs had 46 hits (USA player)

Hoping we get a good "D" man tomorrow.  Just used Garrison as an example sure he will be less cap hit than Suter????

127 hits ? i like that ..shouldve done a bit more research Juskay ..yes a good Canadian kid is always good ..
