Journeyman Progressive League-Season #8...FULL Topic

this seems interesting - I like journeyman leagues - but I have not done progressives in ages

let me understand what you do when the focal player plays for two teams in a season - say the Giants and the Dodgers - do you have to use guys only from one team or the other or can you use anyone who was a teammate?  I saw a statement about such years, but did not understand the answer - sorry
You choose one or the other. For instance, I'm in the 500 HR league, and I have Gary Sheffield. We are currently in season #6, which for Sheff is 1993, when he was traded from the Padres to the Marlins. I chose to use his Padre teammates for that season, but I could have chosen the Marlins. You just can't intertwine teammates from both rosters.

are we going with 24 or 16 teams?

I'm going to send the email out this weekend, but we are going to 24. Some owners wanted to hold out, and I am fine with that.

I fear that I am outgunned in expertise here, but may I try

Gus Mancuso

17 years - 16 of them WIS eligible - 5 teams (4 in his first 12 seasons) - two allstar games

Welcome. That should fill us up.

We have had one owner decide not to play, so that opens us up for one more owner. First come, first served.

Is it acceptable for two of the 4 teams the player has WIS Eligible seasons with to occur in the same season?  I'd like to join with Rich Aurilia if so....

Aurilia would not work, because you would only be able to have Aurilia represent 3 franchises over the course of the league, SF, either Sea or SD, and then CIN.

If there's still room, I'd love to get in on a different kind of prog:

Lee Lacy

Dodgers 72-75
Braves 76
Dodgers 76-78
Pirates 79-84
Orioles 85-87

I'd obviously have to use the '76 Braves
