Season Three just ended - congrats, mac195 - so here we go for Season IV!

The premise of this theme is simple: put together a team with as few different players as possible.  Clone a player as many times as you like; clones are not necessary, but there is a penalty for each different player you use.  Each player you use costs you four wins - so, if you use six different players, you will be penalized twenty-four wins at the end of the season.  Use only one player (not sure how that would work) and you're penalized only four.  Playoff games are straight-up, no consideration given for number of players used.

We're staying with the $80 million cap - this was by far the most diverse season we've played.  Also, going forward we will blacklist all players from the playoff teams:

A couple notes:

- Clones apply to all positions, even your bench. 

- Only one player-season can be used (you can't use a short-season and a full-season for the same player in the same year).

- Include the number of clones used in your team name, even if it's just the number appended to your otherwise clever name.  With the per-player penalty, this is really a necessity for owners to be able to see what the adjusted wins/standings are.

- Previous owners will be given until Tuesday evening to sign up, then sign-ups (in the forum only!) will be open.  If you are not a current owner please feel free to sign up now - there are always openings - and I'll put you on the list Wednesday on a first come, first served basis.

Salary cap:  $80 million.
No trades, DH,  AAA, or live play.
Injuries off.
Any stadium, non-exclusive.
Standard 24-team format.
