*this is old...let this thread die*

yes....i will be running this league again

same rules as the previous years except the owners who draft lebron or durant will pick last every round

im not sure when ill start it since i really dont want to have the dh52 draft league and the 12-13 draft league going at the same time

ill probably wait until the all-defense teams are announced and wis makes the changes to those players

anyway...use this thread to sign up now if you know youll be in for sure or to discuss what should be done about lebron/durant(i was thinking just make those teams pick last every round) or just to talk about the 12-13 players in general

oh and here are the rules...

Rules

- We are drafting a full 12 man team strictly from the 12-13 player database

- No Salary Cap

- The draft rounds will go as follows: ABBABBABAB (A=draft slot #1, B=draft slot #24)

- In rounds 9 and 10 we will draft two players each

- No clones, wavier wire, or rookies

- You can start any of your 12 draft picks and you may use any one of your players 12-13 seasons, partial or full

- We will be using basically the same drafting rules as the ODL.

- Draft order will be determined by a lottery.

With no salary cap, even having the draft be ABBBBBBBBB, I think the first 2 picks have a big advantage.

I'm in, and I agree, whoever gets the top two picks should probably pick last all other rounds as LeBron and Durant are on a level above everyone else.

i would like to join but l dont think an abbbb would be fair for picks 3-15 but i do think we should do something to slow the teams with lebron and kd.

i was also thinking we could skip lebron/durants 2-5 round picks...but then you might have to worry about those teams getting enough total mins

Just skip them in round 2?

Or if you want to do something different and kinda fun..

Assign the draft order.. and then allow people to bid their picks for the rights to Lebron and KD.

Auction off Lebron first followed by KD.

pick #1 is worth 12*24=288 points... pick 2 287 points...

Everyone has the same number of points to bid so its fair. Would you give up your 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th for Lebron? I guess if 2 people volunteered to give up their whole draft for Lebron you'd have to break the tie with a coin flip.. but that would be insanity.. as there would be no way to fill the team with enough minutes to compete.

id say just make picks 1 and 2 go last every round and just stay at abbabbaba

Once a LBJ/kd decision is made, I'm sure I'd be interested.

Me and skypilot are "IN"

I think letting the random draft assignment choose who gets LBJ/da' ant is the fairest way to handle this issue. Obviously who ever is 1st & 2nd will take them, and it's a long way back to picks 47 & 48. Appears these boy's have just become the Wilt & MJ of the 3rd millinium.

Think Durant and Lebron should skip the 2nd round and be at the end of the each round afterwards except when we are picking two. They will pick three in the final round. That's my idea....

im liking this the best so far....id like to have them skip the 3rd as well but then total team mins becomes a concern for those teams
