My God. Is this whole issue on me now? I didn't sitemail because I wasn't at a computer. Made my pick late and from a cellphone because I was out of the office that day. Sitemailing the next guy is a courtesy, not a mandate. If I had made my pick on time, and it was convenient, I probably would have sent a message to the next two people. We're all in multiple leagues here. Somehow I was able to make my pick without ljemd sending me a message, and felonious obviously made his pick without a word from you. How? We actually stuck to the schedule.
Yard told us all to sitemail. This is common courtesy. If you can't sitemail you tell people you can't so someone else can do it.
Sitemailing is a courtesy, and not doing it shows you are not courteous, and neither was ljemd if he didn't. If you were late I get that...especially if felonius had already drafted, but I never heard of anything else about this league from 10/5 until yesterday...which was 2 days after my pick.
Again...you are in 4 leagues (according to your profile)...I am in 11 plus I am drafting another team, getting ready for two other drafts, and trying to manage three playoff squads (poorly I might add). I need the courtesy that has become the norm in the basketball sim for the last 7-8 years that I have been active in draft leagues.
I don't throw it all on you though. Most commishes (commishs?..who knows how to spell that non word) will sitemail the list the day prior, or at least the day the draft starts, OR when they notice at the end of that day there is someone missing. Look at how guys like kfunk, ncih, jakotay, dh555, smokey57, natenoy, and others have run draft leagues over the years.
Look I am not a guy that is known for holding up drafts, and for whatever differences 98average and I have had he doesn't hold up drafts either. It would have dawned on someone that we missed our spot, and maybe a quick message like before 48 hours had elapsed between the scheduled pick and the sitemail I got.
