Just to clarify with the teammate aspect. We can only use a season that that player spent with one of the Big 3, correct? For example, if I had Shaq as one of my Big 3, and I wanted to use Robert Horry, I could only use a Horry season when he was on the Lakers? (when he played with Shaq)

Correct. This also means that you can't use guys who were traded for each other even though the year and the team match. For Example, GP and Ray Allen.

Mikan is an absolute nightmare, but I feel like you can at least make a passable team with the others.  I can't imagine anyone has ever built a winning team with Mikan.

I just looked at Mikan's seasons.  All of them super low efg% and really high usg%.  yikes...

Not my league, but this seems to add too much work.  I'd vote in favor of same season same team being enough.  Who wants to check all 288 players to make sure Sweetwater Clifton wasn't traded for Walter Dukes. :)
