refreshing my memory ...

I can pick *any* season for a player who was a teammate of one of the Big 3, right ?

                  WRONG -- so sayeth the original rules ... sigh .... 

Also, I cannot reach $25M salary for the Big 3.
Zo has two seasons to pick from, the others only have one.
Do I need to pick Zo's max salary season ?

Going to have 80+% usage off of these guys in any case ..

Wouldn't it make more sense to make it $24M instead, since the minimum was $8M per player?  What if someone got stuck with three guys whose highest salaried season is only a little over $8 million.  It wouldn't work.

From RB3 the second edition rules:


**11/26 - Update: If you cannot make a combined $25M+ salary with your assigned big three, you must at least use seasons of your assigned players that are at least $8M each. I did not think it would happen, but this has happened to one owner. Please let me know if you will be unable to make the $25M salary floor.**

Sorry for the confusion, but this probably wasn't clear in the initial post. When selecting teammates, you have to use the year that the person played with the big 3. So basically, if I have Hakeem, I can't use the Bucks version of Alvin Robertson, I can only use the washed up version from 2001. This makes it easier to search for guys since you just have to limit by team and year, but makes it harder since you can't use the best versions of everyone.

I get what you are saying, but Robertson is a bad example since his Toronto season was 95-96, pre-Hakeem.

I will be out of the country May 18-May 26.  I should have internet access, but things might be slow.  My team is mostly built and I'll do my best not to slow things down.

I would rather have that draw than the one with Mikan I think.  51/52 Arizin, 55/56 Johnston and 96/97 Mason would be a pretty stout front line with the shooting at least workable.

Not the best draw for sure, and you will have to use likely all Mason era teammates, but I don't think you have a born loser on your hands.

Mental lapse. I was just thinking of guys who finished their career in Toronto and somehow got confused.
