Simmons, Cardinals is a strong contender for current most-all-over-the-place player. He just became the first to be mentioned at least twice in every phase of the draft, and he also made it all the way through 1 time.
A case could be made for Edgardo Alfonzo, who has made it through twice and has also done everything else twice, except for being protected before the second round (once). Oh, and he did it in one fewer leg than Simmons, because the Mets were also unused once.
