Hmm that one might make me reconsider my draft plan.

Reds are off the boatd

Pascual Perez Montreal

The only tweak I would make is to align divisions by winning percentage.  It would open up more opportunities for lesser teams to make playoffs and win WS.

twfan might be pleasantly surprised to have the Vlad option still available. In 6 drafts where he wasn't a first-round keeper, Vlad has now made it through half the time.

I like keeping realistic divisions because it plays into the franchise selection. If I'm drafting late and I see that a division is going to have jefferson, rbow and schwarze in it already, I'll be more inclined to look at a different team.

What I'd prefer with divisions is to consider geography for relocation instead of tenure.

I almost pulled the trigger on Vlad last round...thought the scarcity of shortstops might prevent Guillen from being there this round, though.  Oh well.

I kind of like the idea of a parallel "experimental" rule 5 that has rules tweaks every year. My first sim league ever actually was a slightly-tweaked rule 5 with a another group of owners (the change was letting 3 players per round before a team was off the board, iirc). I think keeping the timeseries of this rule V intact is important, though, but a seperate league that has little tweaks to the formula every season would be really fun though.

Vlad not being available is still grinding my gears, but we'll go to a former Expo in Moises Alou - HOU.

There's three 3Bs I've been kicking around in my head for the last couple hours, but I need to make a final decision so Scott Rolen - PHI it is.
