It is no accident, it is no coincidence that the attorney general of the United States is the person responsible for making sure that voter suppression does not happen in our country, that issues that relate to the civil liberties of the American people are upheld. These very same people [who] are holding him in the contempt are part of a nationwide scheme to suppress the vote.

RUSH: There you have it. That's what it's all about, folks. (laughing) Planet of Stupider. This is the same Nancy Pelosi who says she could have arrested Karl Rove any time she wanted, but she didn't because she was responsible.

RUSH: Walter in La Marque, Texas? Is that right? Great to have you on the program. Hi.

RUSH: Very good. Thank you.

CALLER: Go back to the beginning of the program today when Pelosi got up and made her asinine speech. How can she have the unmitigated gall to stand up and say that Holder is protecting the America's right to vote when he let a Black Panther -- without prosecution -- stand up in front of a polling place with a club in his hand and threaten people?

RUSH: I am glad that you called here, Walter, because I want to go back to that. Grab audio sound bite 21. If you were not here at the beginning of the program, I want you to hear what Pelosi said. This was this morning. She had a little press briefing on Capitol Hill. This is what Nancy Pelosi said. We need to rename a planet Stupider and send her to it as the governor of this planet. Get her outta here. This is what she said is the reason why we are pursuing Eric Holder.

RUSH: That's right! Eric Holder is gonna make sure that people aren't cheated out of their vote. And that's why we have found him in contempt because we don't want him to be able to stop the cheating. And Walter's point is great. This is the guy that refused to prosecute voter fraud in Philadelphia. The New Black Panthers were attempting to intimidate voters into not voting. Walter, that's a great catch. I'm glad you called.

We sure see why Doug sucks way more than swampy.

I don't have a comment on Doug either way.

I do,though, want to come to Swamp's defence.  I have found his posts to be undeserving of mention in a "who sucks more" thread.  He does have his political and philosophical beliefs, as many of us do.  But I can also get a sense of the person he is, and I don't think that person "sucks" just because he has some different views than I might have.  I get the feeling that IRL he is an entertaining and engaging person.
