Trying to get by on 277 quality innings at Coors...lol
277?
I guess it depends upon the definition of "quality." I've got Toney (112), Nehf (119) and Dumont (46) all in the pen, for 277 what I would call "quality."
Others:
1907 Jake Weimer (222 IP, 4.51 historical performance ERA)
1904 Frank Corridon (207, no historical info)
1907 Johnny Lush (153, 4.47)
1908 Frank Owen (150, 4.94)
1903 Ed Killian (72, 5.13)
1899 Tom Thomas (28, 4.76)
1909 Charlie Smith (27, 5.17)
1914 Guy Cooper (27, 10.01)
1993 Miguel Jimenez (27, 8.59)
1974 Steve Kline (26, 5.72)
1216 IP, $30.2 million
Given that we're in Coors, I expect the ERAs to be much higher than these historical averages.
So far so good: 18 games into the season, 5.46 ERA (including 8 waiver wire scrubs who have started a game each with a combined 1-3 record).
Offense has put up 156 runs (8.7 per game)
10 wins, 8 losses
