Thanks for the correction, jsajsa.  You have had some pretty incredible teams for a pretty incredible length of time, so being anywhere near your best is an honor.

I'm already losing track if this makes it when the next update comes but I believe it does.

Naismith - Season 76 - DIII

University Conference - .6375

Not positive if these will end up making the list on the next update (know for sure jd's won't)...but I'll post regardless for the bragging rights!

Naismith D3- Season 77

Millsaps (pepwaves)- .7310
Emory (jdno)- .7293

Oh yeah...and University added yet another title to their resume.  Champions the last 5 seasons, and 6 of the last 7.  We need some competition!

I didn't count too carefully, but I think you guys would be 11th and 13th.

(I'll update at some point - keep giving me data!  You guys are not forgotten.)

The CCAA in D2 Allen and the Heartland in D2 Iba are both on track to beat the D2 conference record, obviously depending on how the NT goes. CCAA in D2 Allen is at .6426 about halfway through conference play and the Heartland in D2 Iba is at .6289 at the end of nonconference play.

Heartland D-2 Iba has crept up to .6424 two games into conference play.

If you had a really good win loss record in non con, conference RPI will climb for a few games before it starts to drop around halfway into conference play because conference losses by definition are increasing. If anyone is on track for a record when the postseason is starting then it becomes meaningful. Until then it's meaningless.

Great Lakes Valley Conference in Tark finished the season with .6317

DII Heartland in Iba is sitting at .6117 entering the CT but the mind-blowing fact is it has the top 5 teams on the projection report, idk if anybody has ever had all 4 #1 seeds come from 1 conference but judging by the lack of movement on the board as of late it looks like it's going to happen!!

All four number one seeds have come from the same conference just a handful of times, but it has been done. It's rare though. Very rare.

I noticed that about the Heartland though. I don't know if any conference can claim the top FIVE spots on the PR going into the NT. That's really impressive.

ACC Allen Season 75 - .6534
1/10/2015 12:34 PM
Naismith - DIII - Season 78

University Conference - .6412

The same 3 UAA teams made the final four for the 3rd straight year. I doubt that has ever been done before.

&

Naismith - DIII - Season 78

pepwaves - Millsaps - 7402 (NEW #2!)

jsajsa - Southwestern - 7306 (should fall just short)

Since eventually gillispie will see this, next time you want to update the dynasty rankings, Southwestern has now made 8 straight final fours, which should be sole possession of the all worlds all levels all time record.

UPDATED.

Tenth-place RPI(must beat these numbers to make the lists):

DI team 0.7208 LSU johnsensing Knight 45
DII team 0.7137 S. Indiana Morganballer Phelan 38
DIII team 0.7287 Westminster aejones Phelan 33
DI conf (20th) 0.6363 ACC --- Allen 47
DII conf 0.6102 Gulf South --- Allen 58
DIII conf 0.6341 SCIAC --- Knight 49
Millsaps just finished with 0.7289 RPI in Rupp season 78, coach is brianxavier

I assume it doesn't matter if you don't win the national title?  because I lost in the elite 8.

I should add, it looks like some other D3 schools moved on the list since this was updated a year ago, so my guess is that 10th place is outdated.
