D3 list: Millsaps in Rupp - 0.7449. Season 86. National Champs! Woo-hoo!

Interesting side note - it was over 0.80 at one point, dipped all the way to mid 0.73s by the end of conference tournaments, but went up at a steady rate over the last six games.

I'll get around to it at some point. But yeah, "RPI" is Renssalaer Polytechnic Institute, but it's referred to as Renssalaer Polytechnic about as often as VCU or UCLA get their full names.

Boom there goes the D2 all time RPI broken by platoisek in Allen with his San Francisco team achieving a .7542!!!!!!!

He broke his conference mate's just set record at Bakersfield at the end of December!

Congrats and great season platoisek

That's not just the all-time D2 record. That's the record, period.

Emory in Naismith has a chance to shatter the all time D3 RPI record with less than 10 games left in the regular season. They are currently sitting at .7771. Impressive.

Relax, he's doing great and will have a shot but RPIs max out at this point in the season (if you're in a great conference) before coming back down because of the 8 guaranteed losses being added to your sos every game. He could be in .74 territory when the tourney starts which would be fantastic.

D3 List; Season 86 in Smith - Texas, Tyler .7340

I am not sure if this will make the list once it is updated, but as of right now it does.

I would like to point out to being almost exactly right as JD started the tourney in the high .73s. If he wins the title tonight the record is his. Maybe even if he loses tonight...
