Just curious, what is the longer NT streak anyone has had. Im talking consecutive years in the NT, no PI appearances mixed in.

By one team or one coach or one coach with the same team?

My Kentucky St. team (DII Smith) had 37 consecutive seasons before a PIT bid ended it 2 seasons back.

I currently have 31 streaks at both Bowie St. (DII Rupp) and Mars Hill (DII Wooden)

As an aside, I've been the only coach at Transylvania (DIII Iba) .  I have 54 consective post-seasons but that includes 7 PITs

Bryant at D-II Naismith has 38 straight, 37 under the same coach, anadeau.

Lane in D-II phelan has had 5 coaches and never missed an NT in the history of the world (43 seasons) 

Seeing these responses is exactly why I didnt bother with my personal bests...lol

Dcy's has 38 straight (active) at Northeastern State in D-II Tark.
Narcotico at Greensboro in D-III Tark: 36 (active), including nine NTs and coming one game short of a Phil Jackson-style triple three-peat.
Zeuspole at Susquehanna in D-III Tark: 42 (active)
Sully-712, at D-I Georgetown in Tark: 24 (active)
George633 and Storm69 have 24 at LSU-Tark (active).

Unfortunately, this isn't the case, there is one PI in there, so Bryant doesn't qualify, (and currently cant buy a win) but I do have 37 straight at Henderson St, in Smith D2, although we're squarely on the bubble right now.

There's probably another thread on this, but this is the one that came up.  Anybody got numbers on the best streaks?

all you had to do was look a wee bit further down the least of recent posts :) i have compiled longest streaks data for many years, as well as all kinds of dynasty and conference dynasty rankings for teams and conferences. in the thread i am linking are longest runs for NT appearances to every round of the NT, for each division (most consecutive NT appearances, most s16s, most final 4s, etc). the first post of that thread (and every similar thread) is a link to the dynasty list index page which links to all the dynasty list stuff i've done. however it does not contain the most recent dynasty lists (from christmas day) because coach_billyg doesn't have posting rights right now. waiting for seble to put them back so i can update. just go to like page 4 of the recent forum threads and you'll see them all if interested.

On a team with all my own players I've never missed the NT. Unless you are mid-low DI it's not exactly hard.

My very first season taking back DVC I only made the PI, it's true. Was starting a 27 DEF JR SG that year... Good times. Happy to build the program back to where they belonged.

54 straight NT's I could maybe see.  22 straight sweet 16's?  6 straight championship game appearances?  I really need to re-evaluate, I suck at this game lol
