The Allen ACC just placed all 12 teams in the NT, has anyone else seen another conference do this?

You guys suck.  That is all.

Poor SEC...

If you are in a power conference and everyteam goes10-0 in ooc and they all split there conference games it is possible but that is not how you guys did it

Congrats - that is a huge accomplishment. We are working towards that in D3 Phelan, but have only had 9 at the most so far. But we have added more good coaches and have the potential to do that if we can all end up with very high OOC records.

wow, very impressive. if you guys havent done it previously, i doubt anyone has. we've had 12 post season teams with 10 in the NT twice lately, but thats still a far cry from 12 in.

panther - really don't need to split OOC to make this happen, the real obstacle for a super conference in a strong year (the only time 12 NT teams is remotely possible) is getting everyone eligible. got to get those 14 wins, and when you have such a good conference, that 4-12 with 10-0 OOC or 5-11 with 9-1 is VERY far from assured.

Gulf South Allen did 10 NT/2 PIT this season, but that's the best we've ever done.

billy-g: if everyone in one conference goes 10-0 and 6-6 in conference play and the conference tourney is just whoever wins then everyone has a legit chance

I kinda noticed that too.  Ehh, 6-6, 8-8, we get the point he's trying to make.  I did smile to myself though when I saw to WHOM he was explaining the concept.

I wish some of the real old time coaches still popped into the forums from time to time, because I think the Big 12 may have done it years ago (and I'm talking real world years, like 4 or 5 ago) in one world.  I know they were on pace to do it, back when RPI meant everything to your at-large chances.

good god. is it possible you guys could still have an ALL ACC ELITE 8????? that would have to be the most insane thing in HD history.

i feel bad for the conferences around you, i mean god damn. assuming the worst case so far, that the 2 teams who lost lost in round 1, you guys would already have to be at 53K, with huge potential for more. holy ****... i mean really 10 teams still playing? if you guys only average 1 more game each, thats at least 42 games, or 70 thousand bonus money per team. i dont know what is more ridiculous honestly - having all your 6 man classes get 160K to play with (with ZERO rollover), or having your 1 man classes having at least 85K to play with. i could go for that... 1 spot, a cool 85 thousand. knowing me, id STILL take a walkon, but **** ;)

1 lost in rd 1, the other rd 2. Conference is at 33 NT games so far ($55k each) with 2 guaranteed to advance to Elite 8 already (ACC teams facing each other in S16) for a bare minimum of $58,333. Of course it will likely be much higher...  of the remaining 6 teams, 1 plays a sim (Ga Tech vs 13 seed Temple). Miami (-5) and NC State (-6) are underdogs to respectively 1 seed Stanford and 2 seed UConn. Va Tech is a 2 point dog in a 3 v 2 game against Kansas, while BC and FSU are both 3 point favorites (7 seed BC over 11 seed Texas Tech, 4 seed FSU over 8 seed Cal).

I don't think we've ever done all 8 in the Elite-8, I'm pretty sure we've done 7 though.

The reason we got all 12 in this season is because there was so much parity. There is usually 3 or 4 really dominant teams and everyone else is good to real good. There was only 1 dominant team this season (G Tech) and everyone else traded enough wins to get to the magical #14. I'm surprised we've done this great in the NT because the conference is a little down this season...
