Can this guy be a DII PF? Topic

Is he a major defensive liability? Is the 60 DEF and 3 BLK just waaay to low?    We run a Man defense.
Will he get murdered on the boards by the 90+REB guys?

I am hoping his ATH overcomes some of his defiencies and the 70 PER, 65 SPD allows him to pop a couple 3's a game from the 4 position.

Am I over thinking this or is this guy just bad backup SF?

I think he'd be OK at the PF spot. But have you thought about playing him at SF? His REB is below average for a PF, but a plus for a SF, and the 3-spot will take more advantage of his speed too.

A bad backup SF?  What am I missing?  I think he'd be a top quality SF for around 85% of the DII teams I've seen.  He's well rounded, and I like his passing ability at the 3 spot, especially with his ability to score ... I think he could be a viable option as a backup PF against other backup Bigs (pending the backups IQ's), and probably could give some offensive burst against other bigs on the outside who are generally slower at the 4 spot.  Especially against backup bigs, few minutes of burst I guess there, but not a whole lot  as offensive rebounding could become an issue.

He looks similar to this guy who was pretty good for my D2 Tampa http://www.whatifsports.com/hd/PlayerProfile/Ratings.aspx?tid=0&pid=2156902

He'd be fine at either position.  I had a similar guy, though slower and a little more athletic, recently.  I played him at PF and he got something like 8 RPG with a REB south of 70.  He was a 2nd team All American.  Oh - your first question.  An 80 ATH 60 DEF guy isn't going to kill you defensively in the frontcourt.

This is a beastly sf for D2.

Hell I am playing this guy... not as good as tiany's guy, but he was a starter on D1 team, albeit not a great team, one that made the NT. http://www.whatifsports.com/hd/PlayerProfile/Ratings.aspx?tid=0&pid=2217034

Yo man, I type the username like I see the username.  I'll try though, as a courtesy, because you remember both "n"s.
