DII Knight - Which Conference should I join? Topic

I plan on moving up to DII in Knight later this week.  Looking to get some input into who the top conferences are (or who typically has the most conference recruiting money) OR why I shoud join your conference.  I would prefer an active "Coaches Corner"

Look forward to hearing any feedback, thanks!

Heartland all the way in Knight!

I have my eye on Heartland, but as of right now there are no openings.

Lone Star has been picking up human coaches the past several seasons and is now down to only 2 Sims.  You could make it one.  We put 3 into the NT this year, and a 4th is playing for the PIT title in the morning.  Active CC and a stable group of coaches.  We'd love to have you.

Southern Conference, for sure. Number 1 with a bullet. 5 teams in postseason. Good team opportunities in storied conference.

Heartland might have an opening - I think there's a coach who might be retiring, but haven't got confirmation. I'll update the Heartland recruiting thread if/when it happens (and if this thread is around in a couple days I post here too...)

literally the first time in like 10 seasons the CCAA was not on top.

Also of note is how bad the CCAA has destroyed the Heartland in the Heartland-CCAA Challenge over the years. Aint that right, dac?

we prefer to look at the 1st round of this season's NT head to head with the CCAA... for obvious reasons. Also I'm pretty sure the Heartland finished ahead of the CCAA in RPI at some point there, but I can't prove it or anything...
