Hate it!

I submitted a ticket asking how to permanently remove it. I will let you know how they respond.

Still no response from customer service. It has been 5 days.

Is your original message there on your ticket list?  I once thought I'd submitted a ticket ...but I'd failed to look at the 2nd page where you submit it

Customer support sent me a message today saying the issue should be resolved. I have tested it and I am no longer (at least for now!) getting the overlay message. If any of you are still getting the overlay message, you may want to submit a ticket. You can reference my ticket # 124043. Supposedly, this annoyance should be fixed for everyone.

It was gone for a while but it has returned with vengeance! 

I just submitted a ticket.  I would urge others to do so as well so maybe support applies a PERMANENT fix to this annoying ad

Yeah, I can't read first posts ... and I'm not clicking the link, keep your cookies off of me and no ability to close it either (at least for me)

I didnt know that MSN News existed.  Dont think I am going to click to find out - nothing in the advert makes me want to do so - and its annoying tendency to expand without the ability to close it out suggests a certain indifference to customers
