Even if people get mad at me for bragging and want to put me down I still win if you join the conference.

BTW just so you don't think its going to be easy I am 5th all time in wins in Naismith D2 and 38th overall.

I'd love to join, but I'm kinda swamped coaching the 2 time defending National Champion Moccasins right now.

That's right, gauntlet thrown!!!!    hehe, JK.  I went to Bloomsburg, so i wish you good luck filling the conference, after the Sunshine fills up of course

So jobs are starting in Naismith and I want to try and invite people to the PSAC in D2. What was once the cream of the crop at D2 (high RPI for almost 10 season straight) has fallen on hard times. I have been coaching at Lock Haven for 45 seasons and have no plans on leaving. So I want to issue a challenge for everyone to encourage people to join.

It has now been 11 seasons since I have lost a conference game (10 not including CT). So for the first coach that joins the conference and beats me I will offer a $20 GC.

I really want to bring the conference back and theres currently not a lot to attract coaches so this seems like the best way.

1. Someone should get on this. Getting in a conference with someone you know is going to be there a long time is good anyway, let alone the gift card.

2. WIS should keep trying to promote HD a little bit.  Along with bringing back Amazon Gift Cards.

3. Why not move up to D-1?

I played D1 for awhile and had some success but just didn't enjoy it as much. Since I don't have the energy/time/money for more than 2 teams I would rather have them both at the level I like best.

Probably not. I just took over St Thomas Aquinas in D2 Tark (before I saw this challenge) or I would've, though.

You mean you took over St Thomas in Naismith which is where the challenge is soooo you could just jump over next season. Thats going to be a big time rebuild anyway.

if they bring back the Amazon cards they would reinstate the diminishing rewards at D 3 and D2. I much prefer full rewards used to help pay for seasons vs partial rewards at Amazon personally.

I was going to use a GC for WIS not for another website. Basically pay for a couple seasons.

It definitely is. But I prefer a tough rebuild to dive-bombing in on a school with a bunch of seniors & juniors. I'm not ruling it OUT that I'd come over next season if no one beats you this season, but it's not likely.

Trust me any school you take over in the PSAC is probably going to be a bigger rebuild than St Thomas. At least they started with a B-.
