In Tark there were two players not on the big board that left, I stated in an earlier thread I thought that would never happen, but I didn't take into account that they try and take a fair number from each position. So in Tark there weren't enough good SG caliber players, so they took a pair of guys that probably just missed being in the Top 100.

wow, those players are not that gaudy, no way you should have lost those both off a B prestige mid major. that is just insane.

The takeaway from the Tark list is that wis hates me and my Stanford team. James Carson was a juco2 that played one season.

So all of the "graduating" guys got drafted on both lists?

draft has not happened - we know who went EE but draft is a few days away

Some of these EEs are totally confusing...

For example, in Naismith, for Louisiana St. who plays until the 2nd round of the NT, Robert Newman (957 PG) slated as "Likely Going" ends up staying but Charles Moore (871 C) slated as "Likely Staying" goes EE instead from the same team.  Similar occurrence for Michigan as well.

There must be some type of balancing going on (# of guards drafted versus big men) and I'd guess that team success makes up a large proportion of the draft projection (similar to something like a final exam counting for 70% of your mark so the big board might be only showing the first 30%) as to why there are huge swings from staying to going EE and how players not on the board end up going as well.
