Trying to mentor a friend and I don't know the answer, so I thought I would come here.

Person has a D prestige D1 team.  He got a backup message for a few guys he was targetting.  Can you still pull them down the same way you would at D2 or D3 with a backup message (scouting trips)?  Or do you have to wait a little longer and they drop down naturally.

works just like any other backup message. can be pulled or might drop. Big difference here is the risk that higher prestige DI schools will decide they like the lower school's player and take them away - but I guess that is always a pulldown risk...
