A+ rep A+ loyalty fyi

That is incredibly ridiculous.  I've always thought that once you make it to D1, you should always be eligible for at least 1 D1 job
10/5/2014 10:04 PM
Yeah, why is he not going,? He had success... I think you should at least get D+ and lower schools to consider you. Your road track is great at Montana St., Billings. Some others probably do a lot less and still get to D1. Why not open a ticket and get an explanation so we can understand the logic of all this.
10/5/2014 10:24 PM
The only thing I can surmise is that he had been fired at D1 recently...but even so...he should be D1 eligible/coaching D1
10/5/2014 10:29 PM
Nope, never fired. Hasn't been in D1 since season 40ish. Where he coached at Villanova for a  few seasons after taking Hawaii to the final 4. Since then took a break/coached in D3. Been in D2 5 seasons, with 3 straight NT visits.

Beyond ridiculous then.

The thing that jumps out most to me is that coach hasn't been to the S16 in the last 3 seasons, which is definitely holding them back.  What I don't know is how far back on a resumé the jobs logic looks when making a decision.  If it's only a 7-10 year window, then most of the accomplishments at the bottom of the resumé don't matter.

I have a ticket open but have not gotten a response yet.  If I do, I'll paraphrase what CS has to say.

If I really need four NTs in a row then something is seriously wrong.  I'm not even looking for a D+ DI job...the lowest D- job will do.  I just can't believe that my resume is not acceptable for promotion.

I hope to hell that a S16 is not required to move from DII to a D- DI program.

One time in Gridiron Dynasty, I wanted to move from Div-2 to Div-1AA after 4 very average years.      On the jobs page, every single Div-1AA school said "not qualified".    I applied anyway, to three schools.    For whatever reason, I was hired by one of them (again, even though it had said "not qualified") (2 of them had turned me down).     Could the same happen in HD too?

The CS answer was that I needed another 1-2 strong seasons before I would be eligible.

I'm not going to spend the time and money to register 5 NTs in a row and have been removed from World Tark.

Again beyond ridiculous
10/6/2014 7:10 PM
That makes no sense, sounds like it wasn't worth it to demand CS send it to admin/seble? There had to be something wrong to not have that resume be eligible for D- DI.
