I just miraculously won an NT with the first class I recruited at Anderson (Knight D3), recruited from C-.  My second class was recruited from C- as well, meaning 10 players recruited from C- and 2 from B.  We had the second highest RPI in the history of D3.  

How often has something like this been done before?  I recall that tianyi won at D3 in Naismith with his first class at Menlo, recruiting from C-, and presumably many people have won after taking over good, high prestige teams.  

yazooyokel did it at Winston-Salem in season 36.   Maybe that class was recruited with a B-, but it probably was a C+.

Looks like Winston-Salem was C- in season 33 when they recruited their first class.

Anderson has now won their first NT without ever having won a CT in the history of the program.

Did it in season 84 at Findlay, I had a pretty solid prestige to work with my first season though.  Although I don't think prestige at DII matters for a hell of a lot
