00:00 Victor Honore is called for the reach on Robert Dunn - foul #2 on Victor Honore, team foul #8 62-63
00:00 Robert Dunn makes the 1st free throw 63-63
00:00 Robert Dunn makes the 2nd free throw 64-63

Can refs call a foul with no time left on the clock and not have some sort of time put back on the clock?

Tenths of a second.

shouldnt there be a timeout and inbound attempt then?

do they have you inbound with .2 left when they don't let you even tip it in with less than .3? maybe they do, but HD doesn't emulate that?

i kind of think HD just doesn't inbound with 0:00 left...

A reach in foul on a shot at the buzzer?  Not outside the realm of possibility

I lost a game when one of my players was called for a reach in foul on the floor (non-shooting) with 0 seconds left in the game. Yes, it was frustrating. Why would a player risk a foul under those circumstances and why would a ref decide a game with calling that kind of foul? However, if you watch enough basketball, crazy things like that do happen occasionally.

i once lost a game when my center fouled a player shooting a three pointer with no time left on the clock..  I was playing a 2-3 zone. I was up by 3 and I lost that game by in 1 regulation.  Yup the guy made the three and the free throw.  so much fun

Interesting how we can remember vividly the games we lose like that, but have a harder time remembering being on the winning side. Lol

Cincinnati won a game in the Huggins era against Wyoming, with Lazelle Durden shooting free throws for the winning margin with no time left. So yes, it is possible in reality.
