I don't mean to downtrod this argument/issue, but this is really NBD to me.  They could use fake colleges, conferences, and play interplanetary games, but as long as the game still played the same, I would still think it's the best game in the world currently as I do now.

I tend to agree.  THe disruption caused by realigning teams would not be even close to worth it.
