For the last few seasons, it seems the mop up function hasn't been working like it did.  My first five games with Colorado this season have been 30 point blowouts, but my 3rd string pg has not gotten into any games.  He is on the depth chart and set to mop up.  Did I miss something?

Mopups rarely play more than 2-3 minutes.   Set your 3rd string to any other setting, along with the blowout designation, and they'll play more

I just want him to get the 2-3 minutes.   He hasn't appeared in any of the 5 blowouts.

Might seem like a silly question but... He is plugged into your depth chart somewhere, right?

This is just  guess but, are you using target minutes?  If so, your top two guys,trying to get their assigned minutes,  may be keeping #3 from entering the game

He is the 4th pg on the depth chart, and I have the boxes checked to give backups more time in blowouts.

That checkbox will treat your 2nd-stringers like starters and sub in the 3rd string.  Quite often that won't get the 4th guy in.

Yeah, apparently.  It seems new though.  I haven't changed my depth chart strategies in years.
