Work Ethic goes from 73 to 41. He is high-high in Ath, Def, per, bh, pass, stamina. 

He is the 3rd string SF. For this and next year. 

My thought is that if he was a 41 WE coming in with no drop, I'd easily RS him anyway. This is the first time I've had a player take the RS negative. Is that 22 WE really worth preserving if he is going to play under 10 minutes for 2 years?

Does he have 73, keep him this season, redshirt next year.

its actually 32, but its still worth it. By time he's useful in 3 yrs he'll have great IQ and be near max in cores that have growth...even with the 41 I believe.

He's not going to play for 2 seasons anyway. If he doesn't play as a soph without the RS he would complain. You can RS him and sit him as a freshman with no problrems.

Definitely redshirt. The drop from 63 to 41 in WE is a small price to pay for the year of eligibility you keep for the kid and the gains you'll get for attributes and IQ that will assist when he steps in for his scrap-time minutes next season.

Is there anybody else that you can redshirt?  I would redshirt him if not, but if there is someone else that would not require a drop in WE you might want to consider putting the RS on someone else.

I was definitely leaning towards the RS. I just wanted to check I wasn't missing something. Like the first time i realized how much IQ mattered.
