Ineligible Mistake? Topic

I recently signed and recruited an ineligible, and got the email saying that he'd prefer to go JuCo than to sit out a year, but he showed up on my roster anyway.

Should I assume the email was wrong and he is going to stay on my roster? Or is there a chance he disappears?

I've never seen an error like that but I'd assume that he's staying on the roster.

Your AD says, he will probably go JUCO, and something about you know the risks and so forth. Are you sure it was not your AD? When you signed him?

Nope, this is the one. From the player, subject line is "my decision"

Coach, obviously I'd love to play for you next season but I just couldn't get the SAT score I needed. I think it would be in my best interest to play a year or two of JUCO ball instead of taking a year off.

no wonder the kid is ineligible. he's a total mouth-breather; he went to go juco, but he bought a plane ticket to your school by mistake.

I've seen goodtymes' teams play. The recruit probably thought he WAS at a junior college

Same thing happened to me as well.

I agree with allblack56.  Perhaps you need to improve your NC scheduling.
