So my best recruit (possibly ever) just left after averaging 21 minutes when I promised 25...this is absurd guys I'm sorry.
His minutes went down during the NT for obvious reasons, but this just can't happen. Nobody would leave in this scenario

So your best recruit ever, who you clearly wanted to keep, was promised 25 minutes.  You played him 25 minutes in only 1 game and he never fouled out of any games.  Seems pretty logical he would leave, doesn't it?

You offered 25 min per game, only played him 20 min per game. You clearly didn't fulfil the promise.

And unless you are using target minutes, there is no way anyone with a stamina under 80 comes close to 25 minutes a game.  Lesson learned, don't offer 25 a game.

What happended to the days where you just need to be within 10% of the promise...which is basically where he was rest of the way after he complained on the 12th.

after he complained, did he ever say he was okay?  if not, then that flagged the high risk that he would leave

NT games dont affect promises

you made a big promise - probably could have got him with just 20 minutes - marginal difference is small.

Tourney games do not count for promises from what I have been told!  You still broke your promise!

minutes has not operated by the 80% (or 90%) rule for almost 5 years. this is expected / intended behavior, sorry man. when he complained, you really should have listened :(

Well I spent 12k on him last season. Maybe that will help me land him this year. Awesome that he left though. I bet he is regretting not signing with St. Cloud St.   :)

In his defense, there were actually two games that he made it to 25 minutes, but still....................(said tongue in cheek).

Not to be an ***, but this isn't accurate.  Using fatigue and setting a player to Very Tired or Foul Trouble Only will get you there and with staminas below 80 as well.
