Taylorn won a championship at Syracuse last night in Phelan. Syracuse is now the second team to have won a championship in all 10 worlds. Kansas is the other.

Thats interesting. Did not know Phelan was the final holdout.

Which job is better, generally?

Connecticut or Syracuse
5/1/2016 12:28 PM
I kind of think Syracuse is better because you are a bit more isolated, but you are still under 200 miles from NY City. If there is a player in your backyard, you should be able to get him

I would have said UConn prior to coaching in the Northeast. But now that Ive been up there I tend to agree.

The presence of a BC/Providence (while not A+ baselines) makes things crowded. And NYC is a blood math - although UConn is nicely positioned.

You also have Seton Hall, St. Johns and Villanova potentially to contend with.

Pittsburgh at a High Prestige can also be in that Northeast Mix. Part of the reason why I decded to go back. I think NYC is 200 or 220 miles away depending on where the student school is located.

I will begin a new section of this thread at the top for just 3.0, and include D2 and D3 teams now, since it is just starting.

chap, do you know when MSU broke through to all 10 worlds, and which was the last holdout?
9/19/2016 5:43 PM
No, but it would not be too hard to figure out. I think it was pretty recently.

Looks like it was 4 seasons ago in Phelan. The only world I could not check was Rupp.

dacj501 was asking about MSU (Michigan State), not Syracuse.

MSU in Phelan won way back in season #5 (never mind all the titles professor17 won during his illustrious tenure there).

if Rupp was the final world then I know when it happened, nvm :)
