Congrats Nova fans. Hell of a game.

I worked with this guy a few years back that was a walk on for the 85 Nova team. Used to play pick up ball at lunch time. Dude was a dick though. Took it waaay too seriously.

And a shout-out to the Thomas More women's team which won back-to-back DIII titles and their 66th consecutive game. Thomas More is about 7 miles from my home in Kentucky.
Their star, Sydney Moss is the daughter of NFL great Randy Moss but he's never been part of her life. She earned a scholarship to Florida. In her freshmen year, the Florida coach refused to let her come home for her grandfather's surgery, which he didn't survive. Homesick, she wanted to tranfer but Florida blocked every school she was interested in. So, she returned home to Thomas More and has been a 3-time 'Player of the Year'

I'm beside myself today. Class of 2010 here so I was on campus for the '09 final four and do not have the fortune of remembering '85. Love this team. Booth was like our secret weapon this game, Bridges our secret weapon against Kansas. Two of our freshmen were out just about all season with injuries, too, so foul trouble was often a problem with an 8-man rotation. What a game.

One day I'll be an old man and I will look back and say this was the greatest game of my sports fan lifetime.
