Snowball Shootout Season 5

Championship Match- Upstate vs. Midwest

1. St. Norbert at HWS (82-91)
2. Brandeis at Beloit (103-90) Last season's NT championship rematch; Brandeis gets revenge.
3. RHIT at Washington (MO) (65-76)
4. RPI at Lake Forest (81-51)
5. Illinois at NYU (71-81)
6. Hamilton at Carroll (68-47)
7. Lawrence at Chicago (60-68)
8. CWR at Monmouth (79-89)
9. Grinnell at St. Lawrence (68-81)

It seems like those cocky New Yorkers got tired of squeaking by with the Shootout win. Upstate defeats Midwest 8-1, and makes a decisive statement about which conference is king in Wooden D3. They now have five consecutive Shootout championships.

We seriously need to do something about this, my brethren in the midwest region.

Consolation Match- Michigan vs. Minnesota

1. Macalester at
 MBBC (63-79)
2. Finlandia at Hamline (65-49)
3. St. Olaf at Calvin (62-55)
4. Hope at St. Mary's (79-86)
5. GAC at Albion (60-67)
6. Eureka at St. Thomas (103-101; 3OT!)
7. St. Scholastica at Adrian (55-67)
8. Kalamazoo at Bethel (73-81)
9. St. John's at Alma (never scheduled)

Michigan wins 5-3.

Next season Michigan will face Upstate in the Championship match.
Midwest will face Minnesota in the Consolation match.

Congrats to everyone for officially finishing our 5th Snowball Shootout! If I
get some time this week, I will try compiling some tourney stats. (Unless anyone else wants to volunteer).

Let's get going on the rankings for next season!

Well I dont know how I made it, must of been because of the powerful 277 RPI I have right now, I got a lot of work to do between now and then to not let my conference down.

Due to a scheduling mishap, the Upstate replaced Skidmore with Clarkson in spot #6.  So that game has now been scheduled for week 10, Clarkson @ Hope.
