Wow. Not even close. I also want to note, in particular, that this is the same Kentucky team that beat me for the services of a Mr. Jessie Cole, SF, who went 1-7 in this game, with 3 turnovers. Richard Watson, the emergency replacement who became our star in a National Championship year, had a good game both offensively and defensively (as shown by Cole's struggles).
Brothers and Watson are leaving school early, which will leave the Spartans only 2-deep in the frontcourt. Obviously, we'll have work to do in recruiting. In the meantime, though...

Coach, you did it! Congratulations on a job well done. Just getting to the Final 4 is a great accomplishment. Enjoy some time off, take it in and then let's get back to work and see if we can use the National Championship publicity to land some All-American recruits!

Congratulations my good man on a job (more than) well done! You've really done a fantastic job as an ambassador of Michigan St.. When you have time, we need to talk about how we can make sure we keep you here.

Like I told you in the locker room, you'll probably have your pick of opportunities now. You never know how often an opportunity like this will come around - as your friend, I think you should consider them. Don't worry about the team, I'm sure I'd make a great head coach.
