I Would probably do this again

I'd join as well, you may be close to having enough teams.

I'll start an ad for it over the weekend.  We'll see how things are after that.  The original league filled in like 30 hours but became really hard to follow up on.

I already know what my next team is going to be...lets get this going.

IMO, either u need to lower the cap or have the draft be more than one round.  As the rules stand, the people picking toward the bottom of round 1 have almost no chance if the people picking before them don't make mistakes.  Having "retired guests" makes this problem worse.  With a $52M cap, u could make it more fair by picking the team in the 1st round and the guest in the 2nd round.

Completely agree with NC, team draft should go 1-24 then guest draft 24-1 and people should get to pick their preference.

Since it's been 10 or so months from the previous league I assume we are ALL considered "new" owners and we will do a lotto for spots?

guests were non-exclusive.  Every league was pretty balanced overall and iirc the winner never drafted first.  I'm pretty sure I picked the team that I won with in the late teens/early 20s.  I'll have to go back & check.

If we fill, there will be a lotto for everyone.  I'd also consider unretiring teams & guests.  Probably wouldn't lower the cap, though.

IMO, it makes no sense to have a one round draft.  The standings you posted don't look like a balanced league to me.

IMO, it makes no sense to post on a forum for a league you decided you don't want to play in.

Go troll somewhere else.  I'm suggesting changes to the rules.

And I'm suggesting keeping the rules the same.

With a ever shrinking group of owners, I just find it frustrating when a league seems to have interest only to splinter off because people want to makes changes.

one team had 60 wins (and I drafted it late - it hadn't won the other two seasons or it owuld have been retired)
two teams had 50 wins.
so 3 out of 24 teams had 50 wins or more.  That's pretty balanced.

The team with the best record in the first season didn't win the ship... and had less than 50 wins the third season.

If you don't like the rules as is, don't play.  I haven't even advertised it yet.
