I meant currently undrafted as of round 5.  I drafted him in round 6. (that post was made during the fifth round)

I wouldn't recommend less than 19400 minutes on a squad. Especially in the ODL where you never have that 2-19 team coming up to rest some starters.

It isn't too hard to find 3 (frontcourt, swing, backcourt) terrible minute eating guys and pound the hell out of them early against your non divisional opponents. Better to run 900 minutes out of Joe krapphuck than have your starters slide below 100%, especially as you head towards the end of the season and are fighting for a playoff spot.

I'm still 100% convinced that FTA's are a product of your team's RL FGA/FTA ratio and your opponent's pf rate. But there is both a floor and a ceiling in the Sim.
the two numbers you state would be that floor and ceiling, there's nothing artificial installed in the engine

After some tinkering, I've managed to scrounge up a total of 19536 minutes on my team, bar one of my subs being drafted.  Thanks for the advice, guys.

Here's how it looks with Weatherspoon... Maybe a half court press might be a good option for these guys

Name Team Pos Usage% 2pt%# 3pt%# eFG% OReb% DReb% Ast% Stl% Blk% D
John Stockton 94-95 Jazz PG 18.9 57.6 44.7 60.7 2.5 7.8 42.9 3.1 0.5 80
Scottie Pippen 94-95 Bulls SF 26.3 51.9 34.3 52.2 6.5 17.6 16.9 3.5 1.8 96
Andrei Kirilenko 03-04 Jazz PF 22.2 47.5 33.8 47.9 8.9 16.5 12.4 2.5 5 100
Clarence Weatherspoon 00-01 Cavaliers SF 15.3 50.5 0 50.1 8.8 22.4 5.1 1.4 2.3 84
Chris Webber 96-97 Bullets PF 24.6 53.4 39.5 54.3 9.7 19.7 14.6 2 2.9 80

wow..thats a ton of stl% out there on the floor...gonna drive teams mad with turnovers

curious to see how the offense does though...the ast% should help but you dont have the scorers other teams do...also youre most likely gonna be losing the ft battle

Yeah DH Im curious as well. I think Im going to be fine on the FT battle.  The half the reason I took Weatherspoon... My games are going to ugly messy games.  I will be turning the ball over a lot as well.  With high assist % typically high TOs come with it.  So I drafted the high STL% and D to try to compensate

Love Weatherspoon, especially at this cap but am currently using him in 52 mil too.

Thanks to you I am adding a couple of low usage guys to soaks up minutes. This will not be pretty. This is my first time in the league and it shows. I will absolutely hate my backup bigs, and I definitely will never have enough OReb% on the court.

id say 19200 is the cutoff...ive done well with close to 19000 before too but always seem to flame out down the stretch...of course if you get that first round bye it doesnt matter

Starting 5:
124 Creb (light, as I tend to roll)
103 Ast (very curious to see what bump I get esp. against some weaker defenses)
EFG%:  52.8%
TOV%: 13.5%
76.6 Avg Def

Ceballos as 6th man is a nice jolt, as will Gatling be, but haven't figured out exactly which of his seasons I can fit in.

Rolling out Westbrook for the first time other than the 12-13 league that Dh ran last summer. I KNOW, I know, WTF am I doing adding him to a Howard team? I had planned on a few different things but a few guys I needed for the various plans to work got snagged by some of you bastards in the 5th. Not the same player pool of opponents of course but Westbrook did better than RL across the board in that league. Figure that he and Howard can keep each other out of the penalty and the assists of Walker/Grant/Walton give him a boost and Howard get's a boost from all four. Plus I don't need a backup PG now, and can use my remaining funds for triples (by using 3D at the 4).

May still use the 18mpg 3D, but this is also the rare combo where I think Scott can work, Nice rebounding advantage at the 1 and the 3, and can keep a near 40% creb guy at the 5, meaning Scott can play some 2 or 4 and not kill my boards and his 40 or 45 D can be covered up by my other guys as long as I don't add any more sub-50D guys.
