Lots of surprise I didn't take Ewing.  Honestly, I've never been a fan.  I likely don't give him enough credit, but I'm usually looking for "cleaner" big men with bigger boards than that. I probably had my best chance ever to take him here with Rodman on board, but I was focused in on Amar'e and Dirk after picking Manu.

I will defend Dirk over him, though. Admittedly Dirk has 2% lower efg% and 30+ lower defense, along with hardly any blocks. But rebounds are about equal, and Dirk has substantially more assists, much lower fouls and TOs, and his FT shooting makes up for some of the efg% gap. With Marshall and Rodman on board I really didn't need more fouls in the frontcourt. Hopefully, their 86/90 D will be enough to cover for Dirk.  The big problem is, picking in this part of the draft means slim pickings in the 6th. May not be able to fill out my bench the way I want/need to.

on a side note, I wish I could use four Manu clones on my team. So many great short-minute seasons.

much lower fouls and TOs

Pat's TOV in 89-90 is 12.4 (the preferred season) which isnt heinous for someone taking 1500+ shots

there goes Reed, another consideration

you need to get closer to 110

also Tar didn't help me at all, I was wrong
May do 110 felon if I get the guy I want in the 5th. Thinking I could get KD in the 35ppg range and could get away with only using a 4-point guy as his backup. If KD really can hit 60% efg then I'm thinking he'll get over 40ppg at least 1/2 the time if I keep all passing 1-point and 2-point usage guys around him.

I didn't say Pat's TO rate is terrible, I said Dirk's is substantially better. Which it is.

Eleibo, Outlaw was on the short list of SF's that could pass and cover the 4/5, but scud ended that option for me. There is an obvious 4/5 left that plays D, boards, and has a strong efg with high usage, but he does not pass, so I'll likely stick to this plan, meaning you will have to wait until the 6th to see what I do at the 3 and remaining G minutes if my guy is still on the board later today.

Lots of trade offs with whatever 3 I go after in the 6th, or may just run a rebounding 1/2 out there with 25%+ ast. I'll have a few days to think about how to round this thing off if I get the guy I plan on today.

Thanks for the eval eleib.

I do have the flex to draft either a PG, SG or SF next time since g Wallace has the requisite reb to be a sf.
As for assists, love and his 15% help mitigate it a bit. But regardless my next pick needs to be a solid asst guy to get into the 65-70 range.
Fat was someone I debated. His usage is too high but his 10% tov rate is elite for a 20% usg guy and his 80def and superb rebounding should make him a net positive

Updated, I'll do DH and Steelers at the end since they only have 3 players

I predict 44 wins. No offensive star. Low ast. A crap ton of fouls.

Scary starting five, but lots of low-minute guys. It'll be interesting to see how the bench comes together.
