Guess someone needs to start this thread too. Congrats to Charleston on having a player go in the NBA lottery. I'm trying to remember if I've ever seen that in D2. I've had one go in the 1st round, but not lottery. Really cool. And nice prestige bump with that honor.

This is the worst batch of guards I've ever seen.  Horrible.  Virtually none of them have the right potentials in the right attributes, at least in the places relatively close to TX.

West coast doesn't have much of anything this year duncan.  Glad to see others are struggling too.

Then you should accept my non conference challenge. ( and post under your d2 ID.)

guards were very hard to find. SGs especially. But I signed 2 PGs I like a lot. That said, neither compared to the PG I was on last year and was poached by D1 a cycle before signings. *sigh*

For the third season in a row, I found an excellent guard, dropped money and a schollie on him, and was picked off on day 2 or 3 by a low-level D1. Very frustrating. Doesn't seem like there are a lot of passable guards out there, and the few that I find are jumped on by D1 schools. My team will have excellent bigs in the coming seasons, but nobody to feed them the ball or hit the outside shot (unless I pull off some miracles in recruiting next season). There will be withdrawals after we lose Brown and Patterson.

Good news for all of us that struggled recruiting last year.  Total # of recruits looks like it's back to normal this year as opposed to last year's lower #'s.

6 preseason ranked teams in non conference this year. Should know how good this team is pretty early.

I have four, with three in the first four games in the road... should be interested.  I will see real soon if my experienced team is up for the season.

What teams do you like this season?
SE Oklahoma is preseason #1 with two ridiculous lockdown defenders in their backcourt.
Are there really 15 teams better than #16 Humboldt St with their 12 upperclassmen?
Discuss.

Look out for CSU, Stanislaus.  bvb is back.  SE Ok St. looks strong in spots, but they could be beaten in the paint IF their opponents can get the ball up the court.  Longwood also looks dangerous, with scorers inside and outside.

Stanislauscsu will play some D but scoring may be scarce. I wouldn't consider myself a contender.
