I thought I was dangerous 10 seed, but I will probably get crushed tonight. My season didn't go how I thought it would.
Nah....you were truly  a pretty dangerous 10 seed.

Yes they are.  Pretty good at the predictions too.

You really did well on your picks bbunch, maybe you should set the lines for WIS.

Need predictions for tonight too bbunch.

Here's an easy one, bbunch...Humboldt St. over Bellarmine.  Humboldt won our earlier meeting, 66-50. All the coaching magic in the universe won't be able to overcome their talent advantage

I never do that well on predictions, until last night.

In my long all-conference write-up, I had Hillsdale and Coker in the final 4, and both lost in the 2nd round.

I played 6 of the Elite 8 in non-conference play. Went 0-6 against them. Solid field

Seattle, Humboldt, Longwood and unfortunately Mercy.

2 and 2.  Although I'm happy to be wrong about Mercy.

I'll act as a counter jinx.... I seriously doubt Longwood wins the NT this year.  I mean, let's assume he has the best team - how often does the best team win it???

I'll take the field vs. Longwood any day.  You never know when some chump with a 6 seed is going to limp into the NT with a 18-10 record and rattle off 6 straight...

That said, he's my conference mate, and as long as I'm not playing him, I'll be rooting for him and the other power house CVAC schools.

Sad to see I was correct.  My post was partly in jest, as I thought bbunch had a great chance.  But the more I play this game, the more I realize there are rarely dominant teams.  Often match-ups make a difference.  Or teams just have off nights.  Congrats to everyone still playing.  Should be a good final four!

Yeah, I beat them by 17 earlier in the season, so sometimes there's just random chance. Was also up by 10 with 9 minutes left, then our entire team couldn't make a shot. Very strange ending.

Either way, mduncan has a great squad, and they deserve the final four. He used some excellent gameplanning by moving his best player to SF, having him go against my worst starter.

While the last 4 teams are very very strong - I think St. Mary's takes Stanislaus, and the Humboldt/Seattle winner ends up winning the title. That being said, anything can happen with the 4 excellent coaches left in the tourney.

Go mduncanhogs and St Mary's! 5th final four in 12 seasons. If you don't bring a title home to San Antonio (to match ours) we are going to start calling you the Buffalo Bills of D-II Iba.
