so the council meets to decide how the game is played, and then they go out and recruit and change their game plans accordingly.  got it.
wrong.  they discuss changes that would be better for the game, then the devs decide which of those changes to make.  The there is a dev chat with the community to discuss the changes.  dont make excuses if you arent a good coach.
was it an excuse? no.  just good to know you guys have a distinct advantage.  whether that's 100% of the changes or 50% of the changes.  I enjoy the game and don't get caught up in the 'pride' of it all but it's just something to think about when renewing my seasons
I can at least vouch for gtdeuce and tell you he doesn't hide secrets to success.

Back in GD 1, I noticed he was one of the best passing guys around, more specifically, his TE's KILLED people.

I asked him in a sitemail, point blank, how he did it.

He gave me a straight answer, told me how to set-up my depth chart and pass distribution and also told me why it worked from a code perspective.

Needless to say, my teams became a whole lot better.
You just made me incredibly nostalgic for GD 1.0.  *sigh*

But glad I could help out.  Back when I knew how this game worked, I was happy to share information.  I mean, I'll still share, but I'm not sure how many coaches really want to get worse than they already are.

I'm not on the council, but I'm pretty sure there is not an advantage to playing this game just because one is.  To suggest so shows a lack of understanding of what the council and the game are about.

LOL. they have just as much of an advantage as you do.
were you a teachers pet too?
Were you always an idiot, or is this a recent development?
you sound very defensive...something you wanna say?

you guys do the math.  11 worlds, 8 seasons / year, maximum of ~600 players, at a maximum of $10.95 / season, this game isn't worth one developers time to fox sports.  it makes sense they need a council to keep this game humming.  my original point was that it does give them an advantage, how could it not?  the software coding is supposed to be 'secret' and yet we have a handful of ubers that talk with the sole developer about the code open and freely.

We dont talk about the code, per se... we talk about changes that we believe to be beneficial to the game... cause/effect kind of things... things that should be added/taken away from the game... IF changes are made, there is a developers chat BEFORE they are implemented, explaining them, fairly in-depth, to the ENTIRE GD community. Look at MY record... does it look like council members get special advantages?

I believe jas said it pretty well in his last retort to you, sir.

sir?  who are you?  I don't believe neither you nor jas have a right to make personal attacks at me for speaking my mind, per se.

and call it what you want, but if you have to have a secret forum to discuss this and yet there's nothing to hide, why can't we at least view it?  serious question.

I won all my National Championships after I joined the Council.  At one point in my GD career, I had one meager conference championship in 14 seasons played.

I think a lot of people forget that Jas was the first man to lead a team of horses up Bear Mountain.

Nah, it's more like the council meets in a secret chatroom. There we shoot the breeze , insult each other and decide who will win the NC for each world and each level each season.
Little known fact that nobody has a tinker's chance in hell unless we ok it.  Can you say "Conspiracy Theory"    ?

                PS: I would Never tell a lie; and that's a lie !
Well thanks for the first one.  Can I influence your decision in a monetary fashion to get a second?

I'm interested in an invite for the Council.

More elitism??? Pretend or not...does it help promote & benefit WIS ?

I think not.

How is it not beneficial?
