...what is the best (least painful) way to get the guys you like from his tool, into the GD app when it's time to start recruiting?

I have been going from yatzrs app, by position, and scrolling down the list of guys until I find him.  Sometimes I can try to make the GD list of players easier to find guys I like (maybe by sorting WR's in decending order by "Hands") but for me it's a pretty manual "stare and compare" process.

I've had a couple large recruiting classes, so this might not be as painful to some as it is me.

I know yatzr has built a "recruit action" tool to automate things like AC scout visits, but I'm nervous to use it because if I don't do it right, that's a pretty impactful mistake to make.

Appreciate anyone sharing their process with me who uses the tool.

You mean how do you bring up the players profile page?

Click the number on the far left next to his name (the PID)

not sure I follow, but this is what I do to sort through the recruits"

I use the search bar to stay within my geographical range. then i use the filter bar to drop out those below my attribute threshold.
I'll click the flag button and to keep track of them and choose which one I'll make my primary, secondary, etc........
then I use WIS recruit search to find them and place them in my priority order.

it may seem like I do the stare and compare, but that is the way I like doing it. I also like manually performing the recruit actions so I havent used the recruit action tool. sry.

you can always export to excel and create a hyperlink from the PID.

If you find the guys you like in yatzrs tool...then you "add to watchlist"....they will then show up inside GD on your main recruiting page.

Is that what you are asking?

Damn, I never knew you could add them.  I've been doing that manually.

Yeah!  I've been doing this manually - Where is the "add to watchlist" in his tool?

FYI, after recruiting starts, you can't use the watch list.

Damn - I figured it out.  That is SO easy - yatzr rocks.

You checkmark the box in the "Action" column (far right column with checkboxes in yatzrs tool)
Select "Mass Recruit" from the data menu
Select "Add to watch list"

You can use this for other recruiting events too - that's awesome.

To add something to this:

You can highlight a bunch of rows (click on some part of the row to highlight it, then shift+click on another row to select it and all the rows in between) and then right click and "mark for action".  If you flag guys and you want to quickly mark them all, then do this
Set position to ALL
Check the "flagged" box in the search bar so only your flagged guys are showing
Highlight the first guy
Shift+click on the last guy
right click and "mark for action"

Absolutely correct....

I know it's just something simple I'm missing, but for some reason after I tinker with the equations to get them where I want them, I can't get them to SAVE.  When I restart yatzr's program they are back to the default equations.  Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
