METS JUST GOT THERE FIRST NO HITTER EVER.
not even close to a Mets fan but good for them and Johan Santana

I saw the game and though Im happy for the Mets and their fans(Im one), there was a blown call where a ball was hit and called foul . But the reality was it landed on the chalk line; this was clearly not just an opinion since the camera showed the chalk was messed up and smudged where the ball hit.  This made the ball fair and should have been called a hit.
That being said, we all know there aint no such thing as a perfect official in any sport and blown calls are a part of any sport.
Kudos to the Mets and Santana !

Surgical reattachment is a beautiful thing.

It's just flesh colored plastic over a biomechanical arm.  He should have no pitch count. If this one falls off they will just install another.

The coolest part is that Johan is not even our best SP. Dickey is absolutely incredible (weather permitting).

Heh. I agree with you Peanutjets. Dickey out to get a 3 year contract at  10-15 mill per.  Even at his age I wouldn't be afraid of that because he is a knuckler. Hell, they gave Gee a contract like that and he sucks compared to Dickey.

I would want him for 4 with a team option for a 5th. Last night, he dipped into the 50s with his knuckleball. He can keep this up for a decade.
