defensive back attributes Topic

I think it's easy to spot player at most positions, DB seems to be the hardest to judge for me.  here's how i see it for D1A, what do you think?  

cornerback (must have 85+ speed):
#1 technique
#2 game instinct
#3 ath / hands / elu

safety (must have 80+ speed)
#1 game instinct
#2 tkl / technique
#3 ath / hands / elu

as an aside, i have a db with 10 stamina who plays 80% of the game in "fairly fresh" which makes me think that attribute is quite worthless..

CB is about right.. safety though I grade STR & Tackle #1, then GI, then ATHL, and finally TECH and Hands... I have great Safeties that were in the 70's for speed

I'll agree with husker.  I personally like strong, good tackling safeties.  Definitely need them to have a good GI rating and be athletic enough to cover the field.

Same here tackling, athletism and GI for safety, most of my best safeties have had 70 something speed.
