question; i got hammered in recruiting for Michigan @ Camp....i had only 2 DB's going into it & came out with really only 1 decent recruit, one project & 2 sims....i normally play 44 & Nickel but im wondering if anyone has ever tried playing 44 against pass offenses (trips/shotgun) if i put all the LB's in coverage & play heavy pass?

my LB's are significantly better than my DB crew so i was debating it....

LBs Guess scores - 84/75/75/75/74/72
DB's Guess scores - 73/72/68/65/60/59

What are your DB speed and tackling core ratings?

You will give up ALOT of yardage.  Better off switching a player or playing a scrub as the fs.

Blitz.......ALOT and cover long. High risk, high reward bend but dont break defense......might work?

Back in version 1.0, Deandg used to play 4-4 against ALL formations (including shotgun). He won 98% of his games. He would recruit DB's with speed and move them to LB (back when moving players didn't have as much penalty on ratings). Of course, we are in version 3.1 now, so none of that means a thing.

I do so miss the original version.

I play nickel 100% with pretty good success. So I say give the 4-4 a try.
