With the loss to Florida today, Tennessee is eliminated from the Conference championship game. If South Carolina wins against Tenn they are in, if Tenn beats South Carolina then Florida is in.

Unless Florida loses to a sim team in these next two games.

I thought a tie went to highest WIS ranking. Is that not accurate?

First is overall conference record, then head to head, then WIS rankings (if there is a three way tie). WIS changed it a few years back when they did an update to recognize head to head over WIS rankings. So if Florida wins out and Tenn beats SC then Florida is in because we beat Tenn today, if SC beats Tenn then they are in because they won the head to head against Florida.

Ah, that makes sense. I was wondering why I thought it was the WIS ranking that determined the CC. That changes things a bit, ha.

Also the level 5 bowl games are usually paired between 1 vs 2 in the NC game then 3 vs 7, 4 vs 8, 5 vs 9, and 6 vs 10 in the final WIS rankings. Sometimes the WAC winner takes that 10 spot if they are good and not already in the Top 10 final rankings.

We will keep you updated as we go. This is your first season calling things at D1. You should have it all by next season.

Hmmm, thanks for that. Didn't know this either. Is this information available on the FAQ's?

I don't think so. I haven't looked at the FAQs in years. It could be though.

The WAC winner generally (if they are good) gets the Outback or Gator bowl unless they are in the Top 8 or so. I've had one Sugar and a gazillion Outback/Gator bowls

Agre with cjl9652 ... Very tough for the WAC champion to play a BCS bowl game, i have played 2 BCS bowl games in my

Update

I apologize for being fairly inactive yesterday. For tomorrow, I'm planning something special. As already announced, the bracket reveal show is at 3:00PM and the bowl reveal show is immediately after that. Additionally, I am considering a post-season preview show where basically I'll be breaking down some games and my picks for those games. I'm also hoping to bring on rwilcox (ELO ratings) to ask him for odds on a select number of games. This show will take place at around 10 or 10:30 tomorrow night. So, here's my questions:

1. Are you all open to a show that late at night?

2. Do you have any particular desires for the preview show?

Feel free to comment here, or sitemail me.

Despite the loss, Penn State only falls to 2 in the WIS Rankings!  We could have a situation on our hands.
