Its a regular season tournament I am putting together featuring some of the strongest programs. 12 team field split into two brackets, so each team gets five games. Going to be an annul event hopefully.

I'm assuming you're doing 2 divisions with 6 teams each. How about the following year, the 2 division winners play game 10 of their Non-Con to find the overall winner and than do the same idea for each new season accordingly.

Technically I came in tied for 37th in the final poll.

Good idea. Thought about that, the thing is  teams would be vastly different. We will figure it out. But the schdule will be released soon.

TBabe, I would highly suggest that for everyone's benefit that the tourny should be weeks 3-7 or 4-8 so that everyone can get in a game or two or three to iron out any kinks with new recruits and to get an idea of each players strong points and weak points. This way we can have 2 pre-season games plus 2 or 3 Non-Con games under our belts before the Tourny starts.

yep that was the plan from the start. When i posted the first list i put week one by accident...

the coach at Erkskine says he does not plan on being their in season 47. Minor problem, I need him to tell me where he plans on moving to or either find a replacement team. So Scheduling is on boys!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try Glenville in my Conference (ChewChad is pretty cool about this stuff), or one of the teams in the CCAA (California Conference). I play Giesen5 at CSU, Bakersfield just about every year (old D111 rivalry) and the other coaches out their are pretty cool also. I scheduled 4 of them 2 seasons ago and did pretty well. I went 3-1.
